Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. strawberry jello
    2 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    2 bananas, mashed (can omit if desired)
    1 c. pecans
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in 2 cups boiling water.
    Add strawberries, frozen, and stir until dissolved.
    Let set until syrupy.
    Add the pineapple, mashed bananas and nuts.
    Pour half of this mixture into a 9 x 13-inch flat dish and let set.
    Spread with sour cream and carefully pour the other half of the strawberry mixture over this.
    Refrigerate.
