Icebox Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. cucumbers, sliced
    6 onions, sliced (sweet type)
    2 Tbsp. salt
    2 tsp. dry mustard
    2 tsp. celery seed
    6 c. sugar
    4 c. white vinegar
Preparation
    Mix cucumbers, onions and salt and set aside for 1 hour. Drain cucumbers and onions.
    Mix together dry mustard, celery seed, sugar and white vinegar.
    Pour liquid over cucumbers and mix together.
    Put mixture in jars and refrigerate.
    Let stand in refrigerator 1 day before using.
