Swiss Steak With Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. paprika
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 lb. round steak, cut into pieces
    1 clove garlic, cut in half
    2 large onions, sliced
    1/3 c. shortening
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    2 c. hot water
Preparation
    Mix flour with salt, paprika and pepper. Rub steak with garlic and roll in seasoned flour. Brown onions slightly in melted shortening.
    Remove onions and sear the meat on both sides and put into a greased casserole.
