Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. shortening
2 2/3 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 lb. can pumpkin or 1 3/4 c. fresh, cooked
2/3 c. water
3 1/3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
2/3 c. walnuts, chopped
2/3 c. raisins
Preparation

Cream the shortening and sugar together.
Add the eggs, pumpkin and water.
Combine the flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and cloves.
Blend the dry ingredients into the batter a little at a time.
Stir in the nuts and raisins.
