Skillet Pork Lo Mein(Makes About 4 Servings; Consider Doubling Recipe.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. orange juice
    1/2 c. soy sauce
    1/4 c. oil
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1 lb. lean boneless pork, cut into thin strips
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch (optional) *
    1/2 c. water *
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
    1/2 lb. fresh Chinese pea pods
    1/2 (16 oz) pkg. Pennsylvania Dutch brand fine egg noodles
Preparation
    In a large bowl, blend juice, soy sauce, oil, sugar and ginger;
    add
    pork.
    Cover and marinate in refrigerator, stirring occasionally, for 1 hour (if possible).
    In skillet, add pork and marinade; simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes.
