Strawberry Gelatin Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large (6 oz.) strawberry jello
    1 c. hot water
    1 Coke or 7-Up
    1 large can crushed pineapple, drained (save juice)
    1 pkg. (10 oz.) miniature marshmallows
    1 egg yolk
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    12 oz. Cool Whip
    grated cheese
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in hot water; add Coke and cool to jelly point. Add pineapple and marshmallows to the jello mixture and congeal. Mix pineapple juice, one egg yolk and 1 tablespoon cornstarch and heat until thick.
    Cool and mix with Cool Whip.
    Spread over congealed salt.
    Sprinkle with grated cheese.
    Use strawberry jello if available, otherwise use red jello.
