Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head broccoli, chopped
    1 carrot, chopped
    1/4 c. margarine
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/4 c. flour
    1 can chicken broth
    salt and pepper to taste
    pinch of nutmeg
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 pt. half and half
    1/2 tsp. leaf marjoram
    1/2 tsp. leaf thyme
Preparation
    Cook broccoli and carrot until tender.
    Melt margarine and saute onion and garlic until soft.
    Add flour and then chicken broth and cook until thick.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Add a pinch of nutmeg.
    Process all in food processor.
    Return to pan and add cheese and half and half.
    Add herbs and heat until cheese melts.
    If too thick, thin with milk.
