Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 cup finely chopped onions
    1 cup stewed tomatoes
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    3/4 cup uncooked minute rice
    1 cup shredded cheese
Preparation
    In a skillet, melt butter and saute onions until tender.
    Add tomatoes.
    Stir in chili powder and garlic powder.
    Blend in rice. Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove lid and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
    Cover until melted.
    Serve.
