Squash Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 yellow squash (medium sized), raw
    1 large onion
    1 egg
    salt and pepper to taste
    corn meal
Preparation
    Grate squash and onion.
    Add egg, salt and pepper.
    Add corn meal a
    little
    at a time until mixture is dry.
    Spoon in small amounts
    into a 375\u00b0 electric skillet with 1/2 inch oil. Brown on both
    sides,
    turning
    only
    once.
    Will be crunchy. Serve hot as a vegetable.
