Stewed Okra And Tomatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 slices bacon, cut up
1 large onion, chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 to 2 lb. okra, cut up
1 to 2 lb. tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Fry bacon in heavy skillet until brown; remove from skillet. Saute onion and pepper in bacon fat; add bacon and remaining ingredients.
Cover; cook for 30 to 40 minutes.
Yield:
6 servings.
