Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin
2 1/2 c. boiling water
1 small pkg. frozen strawberries
3 bananas, sliced
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 pt. sour cream
Preparation

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Add strawberries and stir until thawed.
Add bananas and chopped pecans.
Pour half of mixture into 13 x 8 x 2-inch pan and hold in refrigerator until firm.
Jell remaining half only to thick pouring consistency. Spread sour cream on first mixture and pour remaining half on top. Place in refrigerator to jell entire mixture.
Makes 6 servings.
