U.S.D.A. Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

unbaked (10-inch) pie shell
4 eggs
1 c. sugar
dash of salt
1 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
3 Tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Beat eggs until just blended.
Add sugar, salt and corn syrup.
Add cooled butter and vanilla, mixing just to blend.
Spread nuts in bottom of pie shell.
Pour in filling.
Place pie in oven.
Reduce heat to 325\u00b0 at once.
Bake for 50 to 60 minutes.
