Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. yellow corn meal
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    2/3 c. vegetable oil
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 jalapenos, seeded and chopped
    1 (16 oz.) can cream-style corn
    1 c. grated sharp cheese
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease an 11 x 8-inch baking dish. Mix all ingredients in order listed, except cheese.
    Pour half the batter into prepared pan.
    Top with half the cheese.
    Add the rest of the batter and cover with remaining cheese. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serves 10 to 12.
