Beef 'N Tater Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/3 c. Heinz tomato ketchup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Put meat into an 8-inch square baking dish.
    Then bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    After that, remove from oven; drain excess fat.
    Combine 3 cups hot mashed potatoes and 3/4 cup shredded American cheese.
    Spread over meat. Top with 1/4 cup shredded American cheese.
    Bake for 20 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
