Creole Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices bacon
    2 (1 lb.) cans green beans
    1 Tbsp. dried onion soup mix
    1 (1 lb.) can stewed tomatoes
    1 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Fry bacon; drain on paper towel.
    Pour off all but 3 tablespoons of drippings.
    Empty beans into skillet; add soup mix and heat thoroughly.
    Break bacon into small pieces; add half to beans, along with tomatoes and sugar.
    Heat to serve.
    Top with remaining bacon.
    Serves 8.
