Fudge Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. butter
2 1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
3 sq. unsweetened chocolate
3 c. sifted cake flour or 2 3/4 c. minus 2 Tbsp. regular flour
1 1/2 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. ice water
Preparation

Cream first 3 ingredients together.
Add the eggs.
Beat until light and fluffy.
Melt and add the chocolate.
Blend into mixture. Add dry ingredients which have been sifted together alternately with ice water to creamed mixture.
Grease three 8-inch layer cake pans and line with waxed paper.
Pour in batter.
Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 30 to 35 minutes, or 9 x 13-inch pan for 50 to 55 minutes.
