Sweet And Sour Beef - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. beef stew meat, cubed
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
1 c. sliced carrots
1 c. sliced onions
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. white vinegar
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
4 tsp. cornstarch (to thicken)
hot cooked noodles
Preparation

Brown meat in the oil in a Dutch oven.
Add the next six ingredients, plus 1/2 cup water and 1 teaspoon salt.
Cover and cook over low heat until meat is tender (approximately 2 hours). Add cornstarch to 1/4 cup water.
Add to beef.
Stir and cook until thick and bubbly.
Serve over noodles.
