Red Velvet Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. cake flour
    1 1/2 c. Crisco
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 oz. red cake coloring
    1 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    7 eggs
Preparation
    Cream sugar and Crisco with electric mixer.
    Now add eggs one at a time.
    You are to beat well after each egg (mix well).
    Add flour, milk, salt, vanilla, coloring and baking powder.
    Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Bake in cake pan.
    Remove from pan immediately.
