Candied Yams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 5 long, thin yams, peeled and sliced 1/2 thick
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 stick margarine
Preparation
-
Put margarine on bottom of heavy saucepan.
Cover with sliced yams; top with brown sugar.
Cover pan and bring ingredients to a slow boil.
Reduce heat to simmer until yams are soft.
Great for holiday dinners.
