Sausage Pinwheels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. shortening
    3/4 c. milk
    1 lb. hot pork sausage
Preparation
    Combine
    flour,
    baking powder, salt, cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse meal.
    Add milk, stirring until well blended.
    Turn dough out into a lightly floured surface; knead lightly
    3 or 4 times, roll dough into an 18 x 12-inch pan, spread sausage at room temperature over dough leaving 1/2 inch
    margin on\tall
    sides;
    carefully roll dough lengthwise (jelly
    roll fashion).
    Pinch
    seams
    ends to seal, cover and refrigerate
    at least 1 hour.
    Slice dough in 1/4-inch slices. Bake 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until brown.
    Yields 3 1/2 dozen.
