Ingredients

2 egg whites
2/3 c. sugar
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Beat egg whites to soft peaks; gradually add sugar and beat until stiff peaks form and sugar is dissolved. Add drop of red or green food coloring if desired.
Spoon onto greased cookie sheet.
Turn oven off.
Place cookies on center rack and forget them at least 2 hours or until oven is cold.
Do not open door.
Makes 2 1/2 to 3 dozen.
