Ingredients

1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. minced onion
3 c. sliced beets
2 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation

Blend sugar, salt and cornstarch.
Heat.
Add vinegar.
Mix. Cook on low heat until smooth; stir constantly.
Add butter, onion and beets.
Let heat for 20 minutes.
