Ingredients

1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. vinegar
2 c. sliced, cooked beets
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Combine sugar and cornstarch; add water, vinegar and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Add beets and butter and cook over low heat 20 minutes.
Serve hot.
