Broiled Chicken Livers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. chicken livers
    1 can water chestnuts
    12 oz. pkg. bacon
    1 onion, cut in small wedges
Preparation
    Drain and rinse livers.
    Drain chestnuts; set aside.
    Cut onion.
    Take 1 strip of bacon and at one end place 1 liver, 1 water chestnut and wedge of onion.
    Roll up and secure with a wooden toothpick.
    Place on deep baking sheet and broil.
    Turn at intervals for even cooking.
    When bacon is done on the outside, livers will be done on the inside.
    Place on paper towel, then onto serving plate.
