Crispy Broiled Zucchini - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 large zucchini
1/8 lb. butter or margarine
1 small white onion
2 Tbsp. chopped green chile (fresh or canned)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground black pepper
1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
Preparation

Wash zucchini and slice into half-inch rounds.
Boil in salted water just until tender.
Drain and spread zucchini in a shallow baking pan.
Melt butter.
Peel and grate onion.
Stir onion and green chile into the butter.
Spread this mixture over the zucchini.
Shake salt and pepper over slices.
Sprinkle cheese over it.
Broil about three inches from heat for five minutes or until cheese is a light brown.
Serves 4.
