Fried Cabbage And Ham - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    4 carrots
    1 stick butter
    1 Tbsp. pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. ham, cooked and diced
Preparation
    Melt butter in large skillet.
    Add chopped cabbage, carrots, salt and pepper.
    Cook on medium heat; stir frequently to keep from burning.
    Let cabbage begin to brown.
    Add 1 cup water and ham.
    Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes.
