Microwaved Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered (about 1 1/2 lb.)
    1 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. butter
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Place potatoes, milk and butter in a 3-quart casserole dish. Cover with plastic wrap.
    Cook on High until the potatoes are very tender, about 15 minutes.
    With a mixer set on lowest speed, mash the potatoes right in the cooking liquid.
    When the lumps are gone, season with salt and pepper.
    Then, on high speed, whip until light, adding more milk if potatoes are thick.
    Serves 4.
