Chocolate Brownies - cooking recipe

2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, melted
1/2 c. unsifted flour
1/3 c. cocoa
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation

Grease one 8-inch square pan.
Beat eggs in small mixer bowl. Gradually add sugar and vanilla; beat well.
Blend in melted butter.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually add to egg mixture, blending thoroughly.
Stir in nuts.
Pour into pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan.
Cool in pan.
