Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions
    1 large green pepper
    1 stalk celery
    1 clove garlic
    1/2 pt. oil
    1/2 lb. ground pork and beef
    basil leaf
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. parsley flakes
    1/2 tsp. pepper (red)
    1/2 tsp. pepper (black)
    1 tsp. salt or more
    1 can tomato puree
    1 can water
    6 cans tomato paste
    8 cans water
Preparation
    Grind or chop the first 4 ingredients.
    Simmer ground pork and beef in oil.
    Add the basil, oregano, parsley flakes, peppers and salt and cook 1 hour, then add remaining ingredients.
    Cook on simmer for 2 to 3 hours.
    Add meat balls if you wish.
