Sage Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted, plain flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. sage
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Sift and measure flour and add salt, baking powder and soda. Sift together and add sage.
    Cut in shortening.
    Add buttermilk; mix well.
    Knead and roll until dough is 3/8 inch thick.
    Cut out biscuits and place on greased baking sheet.
    Bake about 15 minutes at 450\u00b0.
