Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    6 Tbsp. margarine
    1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1 (16 oz.) can pineapple slices
    maraschino cherries
    1/4 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Prepare cake batter using the box instructions.
    For more of a pineapple flavor, use the juice from the pineapple can instead of water.
    Cover the entire bottom of an electric skillet with 2 sheets of waxed paper.
    Turn to 250\u00b0 and melt the margarine. Spread the brown sugar over the margarine.
    Place the pineapple slices in the skillet.
    Place a cherry in the center of each slice.
    Pour batter of cake on top of the pineapple.
    Place the cover on the skillet with the vent open.
    Bake 30 to 40 minutes. The cake will look moist and uneven.
    Turn onto serving plate. Slowly peel off wax paper.
