Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground meat
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 small head cabbage
    6 potatoes, pared
    2 c. tomato juice
Preparation
    In skillet, lightly brown meat with onion and seasonings; drain off fat.
    Set aside.
    In buttered casserole (2 to 2 1/2-quart), cut cabbage in medium size shreds to cover bottom of dish. Add about 4 layers of sliced potatoes (about 6 medium size). Arrange the browned meat over the potatoes.
    Pour tomato juice over the meat.
    Cover and bake 1 to 1 1/2 hours in a 350\u00b0 oven. Serves 6.
