Layered Chili Powder Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
    1 small head iceberg lettuce
    1/4 c. pitted ripe olives
    1/2 lb. roast beef (1/2-inch thick)
    4 oz. Monterey Jack cheese, cubed
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 avocado
    tortilla chips
    2 medium tomatoes
Preparation
    Drain chilies.
    Shred lettuce.
    Cube cheese.
    Cut beef into strips.
    Cut tomatoes into wedges.
    Peel and chop avocado. Combine mayonnaise, chilies, milk, chili powder and salt; mix well.
    Chill.
    On serving platter, arrange lettuce, meat, cheese, tomatoes, avocado and olives.
    Serve with mixture and chips.
