Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. flour
3 egg yolks
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
3 egg whites
1 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
1 c. sweet milk
Preparation

Blend sugar, flour, lemon juice and rind, salt, yolks and milk; beat well.
Fold in egg whites, beaten.
Pour into glass baking dish; set in hot water.
Bake for 1 hour in slow oven; cool.
Serve plain or with whipped cream.
This pudding is cakelike on top with thick, creamy sauce underneath.
