Favorite German Chocolate Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. coconut
    2 unbaked 10-inch pie shells
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
    3 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. cake flour
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. melted margarine
    2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
    2 c. evaporated milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Sprinkle coconut over bottom of pie shells.
    Sprinkle pecans over coconut.
    Combine sugar, cake flour and cornstarch in mixer bowl.
    Add eggs, margarine and chocolate; beat until well blended. Add evaporated milk gradually, mixing constantly.
    Stir in vanilla and salt.
    Spoon into prepared pie shells.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until set.
    Yield:
    12 servings.
