Graham Cracker Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    about 1 1/4 inner packs graham crackers
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    2 sticks margarine (1 c.)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Line a well-greased 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan with graham crackers, fitted tightly together, with no cracks between.
    If necessary, break crackers to fit.
    In saucepan, combine brown sugar and margarine.
    Bring to a boil and boil 2 minutes, no longer, just to melt sugar.
    Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and nuts.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes, no longer. Confection should be bubbly.
    Partly cool, then cut in bars.
    Lift from pan and cool completely on rack.
    (If you waited too long and cookies are stuck to pan, return to oven just long enough to loosen.)
    When bars are completely cool, can be stored in tightly covered container or frozen up to a month.
