Six Week Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) box Raisin Bran
    1 c. melted shortening
    3 c. sugar
    4 eggs, well beaten
    1 qt. buttermilk
    5 c. flour
    5 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Add sugar to warm, melted shortening.
    Beat in eggs.
    Mix cereal, flour and salt together and add to first mixture.
    Measure baking soda into buttermilk and add to mixture.
    Grease and flour (or line) muffin tins.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Cover and store up to 6 weeks in the refrigerator.
