Alice Dick'S Butterscotch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. cornstarch
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. milk
    5 c. very warm milk
    6 beaten egg yolks
    1 stick oleo or butter
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 large pie shells or 3 (8-inch) shells
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients.
    Blend in 1/2 cup milk.
    Add 5 cups very warm milk; bring to boil.
    Boil 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Add 1 cup mixture to beaten egg yolks.
    Return to hot mixture.
    Boil 1 minute.
    Add oleo or butter and vanilla.
    Cool slightly.
    Pour into 2 large pie shells or three 8-inch shells. Cover with meringue.
    Bake for 12 minutes at 475\u00b0.
