Easy Rice Almond Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    3 Tbsp. slivered almonds
    2 c. water
    1 c. Par-excellence Premium rice
    4 Tbsp. Lipton golden onion soup mix
    1 Tbsp. dried parsley
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In a skillet or 2-quart saucepan with lid, combine margarine and almonds.
    Saute on high heat until slightly brown.
    Add water, rice, onion soup mix, parsley, salt and pepper.
    Bring mixture to a boil, stirring frequently.
    Cover tightly with lid, making sure no steam is escaping from the top.
    Reduce heat to simmer and continue cooking for 20 minutes or until all water is absorbed. Leave covered while cooking.
