Mom'S Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 onions
    3 large green peppers
    1 large red pepper
    5 green tomatoes
    10 cucumbers
    1/4 c. salt
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1/2 Tbsp. celery seed
    3/4 Tbsp. turmeric
    3 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
    1 c. cold water
Preparation
    Grind first 4 ingredients together, using coarse blade on grinder.
    Drain.
    Sprinkle with salt.
    Let stand overnight. Drain.
    Combine remaining ingredients.
    Pour over ground vegetables.
    Boil 5 to 10 minutes.
    Put in hot jars; cover tightly with hot lids to seal.
    Place on towel covered cupboard to seal and cool.
