Beef Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. thinly sliced onion
    1/3 c. green pepper, diced
    2 c. Minute rice
    1/4 c. bacon drippings or butter
    2 c. hot water
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Saute onions, green pepper, rice (right from the box) and ground beef in the bacon drippings. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes.
