Homemade Lima Beans(Crock-Pot Recipe) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (16 oz.) bags large dried limas
1 (32 oz.) bottle ketchup
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 c. Grandma's molasses
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled (save about 1/4 c. bacon drippings)
Preparation

Soak lima beans overnight and drain.
Cook for one hour.
Cool and refrigerate for one hour.
Place chopped onion, dry mustard, bacon drippings, molasses and brown sugar mixture in saucepan and simmer about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Place with cooked limas and crumbled bacon in crock-pot and cook on low heat for about 6 1/2 hours.
Serves about 10 to 12.
