Dutch Oven Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 to 5 lb.) roast
    2 Tbsp. fat
    1/4 c. water
    1 Tbsp. salt
    6 potatoes, halved
    2 medium diced onions
    9 medium carrots
Preparation
    Melt fat in Dutch oven.
    Add meat and brown well on all sides. Add water, salt and diced onions.
    Cover and place in a moderate oven at 350\u00b0; cook for 2 hours.
    Add prepared vegetables.
    Cover and cook another hour or until tender.
