Million Dollar Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate bits or semi-sweet sq., cut into small pieces
    1 c. marshmallow cream
    2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 c. evaporated milk
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
Oil a jelly roll pan or 9 x 9-inch pan.
Combine chocolate and marshmallow cream in large bowl and set aside.
Mix sugar, butter and milk in a 3-quart heavy pot, stirring to combine well. Gradually bring to boil over low heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Dip a pastry brush in cold water and wash down the sides of pot.
Continue to boil, stirring constantly, without touching spoon to sides of pot, for 5 minutes, then pour mixture over chocolate mixture and add salt and vanilla.
Stir until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth.
    Then stir in nuts.
Spread on a cookie sheet or pan and let stand until firm.
Cut into squares and store airtight.
    Makes about 2 pounds.
