Goose Stuffed With Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 to 8 lb.) goose
    1 c. hot water
    2 1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1 large onion
    2 tart apples, diced
    salt and pepper to taste
    garlic to taste
    sage to taste
    water
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Boil giblets in water until tender.
    Chop very fine and add to bread, onion, apples, salt, pepper, garlic and sage or any other seasoning you prefer.
    Add water until stuffing is just moistened. Stuff goose and place in roasting pan.
    Pour melted butter over goose.
    Cover and roast at 325\u00b0 until tender, about 25 minutes, per pound of meat.
