Pea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen tiny English peas
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 small tomato, diced
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 c. mayonnaise
    6 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
    4 Tbsp. real bacon bits
Preparation
    Mix frozen peas (do not cook), chopped onion, diced tomatoes, sugar and mayonnaise together.
    Top with shredded cheese, then bacon bits.
    Serve cold.
