Green Tomato Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    about 3 1/2 lb. small green tomatoes
    1 clove garlic
    1 stalk celery
    1 hot pepper
    1 head fresh dill or 1 tsp. dill weed or 2 Tbsp. dill seed
    2 qt. water
    1 qt. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. pickling salt
Preparation
    Wash tomatoes with stem on.
    Put in quart jars.
    To each quart jar, add 1 clove garlic, 1 stalk celery, 1 hot pepper and 1 head fresh dill, 1 teaspoon dill weed or 2 tablespoons dill seed. Combine remaining ingredients.
    Bring to full boil and fill jars to 1/2-inch from top.
    Adjust lids.
    Process in boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
