Whole Wheat Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. warm water
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 c. warm water
    2 Tbsp. soft shortening
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. whole wheat flour
    2 c. white flour
Preparation
    Put warm water and dry yeast into small bowl.
    Add brown sugar.
    Let stand until it bubbles.
    Mix well in large bowl:
    warm water, shortening, brown sugar, salt, wheat flour and white flour. Let rise for 30 minutes.
    (This will be soft.)
    Now add 2 more cups white flour and knead until smooth and elastic.
    Let rise until double.
    Punch down.
    Make into loaves.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Makes 3 medium loaves.
