Real Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter (may use margarine)
    1 lb. sugar
    1 lb. plain flour
    1 lb. eggs
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Add sugar gradually, creaming well.
    Add flour and eggs alternately, beginning and ending with flour.
    Flavor with vanilla.
    Bake in tube pan or 2 loaves at 275\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
