Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 small onion
    3/4 c. water
    1 can mushroom soup
    6 small potatoes
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Dice onions; boil for 5 minutes.
    Leave in water.
    Cook ground beef; drain.
    Peel potatoes; slice in thin slices.
    Use a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Alternate potatoes and beef, starting with potatoes and ending with beef.
    Salt and pepper meat.
    Add soup to onion and water; simmer until thick.
    Pour over potatoes and beef.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
